OC House Cleaning – Terms and Conditions

1. General Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by OC House Cleaning (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to any individual or entity (“Client” or “you”) in Lake Forest, California, and surrounding areas. By scheduling, contracting, or otherwise engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to the California Civil Code and the California Business and Professions Code.

2. Services Provided
OC House Cleaning is a licensed and insured cleaning service offering, without limitation:

• Post-Construction Cleanup
   
• Office Cleaning
   
• Gym Cleaning
   
• School Cleaning
   
• Medical Clinic Cleaning
   
• Hourly Residential Cleaning
   
• Deep Spring Cleaning
   
• Eco-Friendly Cleaning
   
• Contract Cleaning
   

3. Scheduling and Access
3.1 Appointments are confirmed once a date, time, and scope of work have been agreed upon.
3.2 The Client must provide the Company with safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time. Delays or inability to access the property may result in additional charges or rescheduling fees.

4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment in full is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
4.2 Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 10% per month or the maximum allowed by California law, whichever is lower.
4.3 The Company reserves the right to suspend or refuse future services if payments are overdue.

5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 The Client must ensure that the premises are safe and free from hazards that could pose a risk to our staff or prevent the completion of the work.
5.2 The Client is responsible for securing or removing any valuables, breakables, or sensitive items prior to the commencement of services.

6. Quality Assurance and Inspection
6.1 Upon completion of services, the Client has the immediate responsibility to inspect the work to ensure it meets the agreed-upon scope and quality standards.
6.2 If any concerns are identified, they must be reported to the Company before our staff leaves the premises, so that they can be addressed promptly.
6.3 Failure to conduct an inspection or to raise concerns before our departure constitutes acceptance of the work as satisfactory.

7. Refund and Service Policy
The services provided are labor-based cleaning services and not tangible products. Due to the nature of the work, once services are completed, no refunds are issued. The Client agrees that the sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to allow the Company to correct any deficiencies identified during the final inspection as outlined in Section 6. This policy is consistent with California Civil Code provisions recognizing the unique nature of personal services and is intended to ensure fairness while protecting the Company from disputes after work has been accepted.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
8.1 Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed-upon service price.
8.2 The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including hazardous conditions, staffing issues, or events beyond our control.

9. Liability and Insurance
9.1 OC House Cleaning is licensed and insured in accordance with California law.
9.2 The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or deterioration that may be revealed during cleaning.
9.3 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of the Client’s failure to fulfill responsibilities outlined in this Agreement.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in Orange County, California, pursuant to the California Arbitration Act (California Code of Civil Procedure §1280 et seq.).

11. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website or otherwise made available to Clients upon request.

12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
